Cassandra Labs + OpenClaim: Making Drug Safety Research Accessible to Everyone

Cassandra Labs Foundation is proud to announce our collaboration with OpenClaim, a leading side effect and drug safety research tool!

Drug safety data is technically public. But it's scattered across government databases, regulatory filings, and research papers that most people don't have the time, tools, or expertise to navigate. OpenClaim changes that by pulling FDA adverse event reports, drug labels, and public safety data into a single searchable platform, so anyone can research side effects without needing a background in medicine or law.

But it goes one step deeper. When people consistently research the same drugs and symptoms, the aggregate data reveals gaps in the existing record — including side effects that may be underreported. This helps patients ask better questions of their doctors. Not to replace that conversation, but to make it more honest and productive.

This is exactly the kind of public-interest work Cassandra Labs Foundation was built to support! Our members will have the option to contribute anonymized research data to that effort directly.
